Research and Development cell is an integral part of MIT Group of Institution. In this modern world which is increasingly guided and affected by technology, research and development forms the core of a nation’s economic growth. MIT Group of Institutes aims to transform the lives of young budding students through their new and innovative ideas. We believe that this objective of ours shall help in producing ready to be employed graduates. The main aim is to provide an innovative and creative atmosphere in which students can pursue their higher studies and bring out their best.

Our Institute has received research grants for two projects under TEQIP-III CRS scheme in Mechanical Engineering and Computer science & Engineering. Both of these projects are progressing successfully. The project in mechanical engineering is based on Earth Air heat Exchanger cooling technology which is titled as “Simulation and Experimental based testing and development of Earth-Air Heat Exchanger (EAHE) for Summer Cooling in Malwa Region.” and conducted by Principal Investigator Dr. Santosh Vyas, along with Co-Principal Investigators Prof. Manish Soni and Prof. Mushtaq Patel.
This research work has objective to test and develop one of the passive building cooling techniques Earth-Air Heat Exchanger (EAHE) system and based on summer climatic conditions in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh State of India. The building space for conducting this research work is security guard cabin of our institute. The proposed engineering investigation is expected to give a scientifically designed EAHE cooling system for climatic and geological condition of Malwa region of MP state of India.
A research paper titled as “Simulation based study of Earth-Air heat Exchanger (Earth-Tube) Technology for cooling of Security Guard Cabin” has also been published in 7th International and 45th national Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP) at IIT Bombay, in December-2018 authored by Principal Investigator.
The project in Computer Science and Engineering is oriented towards Mitigation of Vulnerabilities and Risk in Cloud Based and IOT Based Smart Cities and conducted by Principal Investigator Prof. Abhishek Raghuvanshi and Co-Principal Investigator Prof. Deepali Kelkar. The objectives of this project are to develop remedial action plan to mitigate vulnerabilities in cloud based and IOT based smart cities and to make a security model for cloud based and IoT based smart cities.
Research Papers titled as “Java and IoT (Internet of Things) : Automating the Industrial Economy” and “Role of SCADA & IoT in Industrial Automation” have been published in International Journal of Computer Applications and International Journal of Scientific Research and Development respectively authored by Principal Investigator.
